Thoughts about thoughts

    It was somewhere around 2003-05, when I had taken my leave from job and gone home for regular vacation and this time, I had planned to buy gifts for my family members, locally. I told so to my parents and 2 brothers, who were all respectful of my idea and agreed to join. In a day or two, we all went to a popular shopping area in the city. As both my brothers, preferred branded clothes, and had a preferred store as well, nothing else would work-out for them, so we did their shopping from a multi-brand shop, as they chose.   But, when my brother started selecting ready-made clothes for papa from the same shop, I denied purchasing from there. Loudly & emotionally, I suggested that we go to our regular, cloth shop of olden times, buy material and then get it stitched by a tailor.
