Reduce distractions, enhance focus - a case study

A 6th grader child's mom, consulted Swaadhin Org for better focus on studies.

With good commitment & practices , he was doing quite well but still distracted during daily studies, at times. This was discussed online, in a zoom call, to guide them.

In this short audio highlights about his case-study are shared, enjoy listening & learning.

3 (selected) suggestions -as given to him, are listed here:

1. Mobile phone to be removed from the area of studies - after taking any notes, communication or online material as required from the phone. These to be noted down before beginning to work, so that no further browsing needed.

2. Someone sits with him initially and towards the end of his study duration - just to help him plan & prioritize his work and close it properly, with confirmation. Also it might help him be clear about, what's remaining to be done during next sitting, later that day.

3. He begins his studies with 2-3 min of Yoga, pranayama like

a. Silence + Om chanting

b. 'Anulom Vilom' and 'Bhramari' pranayama

c. 'Tratak' finger gazing exercise for focus

Hope these suggestions help your family too!
